Tenebrosa
Portrait of Evil

Is a supernatural psychological horror film set in a Mexican community in Las Vegas, Nevada — a place where faith, folklore, and fear collide.

The story follows Tony, a curious journalist investigating mysterious disappearances linked to Tenebrosa

A shapeless shadow said to punish those who seek forbidden truths. What begins as a quest for answers turns into a terrifying descent into darkness, as Tony’s obsession awakens something ancient, formless, and evil.
Visually, the film blends the atmospheric dread of The Conjuring with the emotional realism of Hereditary, using striking cinematography, natural lighting, and sound design to blur the line between reality and nightmare.

At its core, Tenebrosa explores what happens when curiosity defies caution — when faith can no longer protect you, and when the evil you fear most lives in your own reflection.

Why We’re
Making This Film

As filmmakers, we want to celebrate Latino folklore and cultural horror, bringing stories inspired by our roots to a global audience. This project gives space to voices and legends that have been whispered across generations — and reimagines them for today’s screen.
